You ensure legal and material security by paying for vehicle damage insurance (CDW) and the vehicle theft insurance (THW)

Tariff packages include coverage of damages and theft to the rented vehicle (with mandatory participation in the damage / theft to the extent specifically prescribed for each vehicle group).

For some vehicle groups you can purchase additional insurance

1. Additional insurance for damage to the vehicle (SCDW)
NOTE: This type of insurance does not cover damage caused to the vehicle interior, damage to tires and wheels, underbody damage, faults and fractures on the engine and gearbox, damages caused by mishandling air conditioning, broken or lost key and alarm, damages caused by pouring the wrong kind of fuel, and damage caused deliberately or through plain negligence.

2. Additional insurance for vehicle theft (STHW)
NOTE: This type of insurance is not applicable if the vehicle is stolen, and the client does not return the key, vehicle registration and a valid police report. In such cases, the client assumes full responsibility and bears the full cost of the vehicle at the market price. Risk insurance automatically ceases to be valid.

Purchase of additional insurances is optional and up to you to decide if you want to reduce the possible participation amount in case of damage/theft to its minimal prescribed amount.

Police report is required - because without it the full amount of damage or theft will be charged to the Lessee.

It is necessary to make a record even in cases where the renter was not present when the damage occurred - e.g. when there has been damage made to the vehicle on a parking lot by an unknown person.

In such situations, the Lessee is obliged to:

• Immediately notify the police and follow their instructions
• Do not withdraw from the scene
• Immediately after notifying the police - promptly notify the lessor
• To write or record information about other participants in the accident
• To prepare and submit a report on the accident or damage when returning the vehicle
• To write a statement which will describe the causes and circumstances under which the accident or damage occurred

The mutual rights and obligations of Avance Ltd as a Lessor and you as a Lessee are accurately defined in the rental agreement that is signed upon collection. If a Lessee is a Legal entity, in addition to the rental agreement the contract of services is signed as well.

Upon collection, you get a clean car with a full tank. You bare the fuel costs during the lease period. Your obligation as Lessee is to return the car in identical condition as when you have claimed it. Otherwise spent fuel and vehicle washing shall be charged according to the General and supplementary conditions of rental. The costs of parking, garaging, penalties and violations, as well as any other extraordinary costs are borne by Lessee exclusively.

You can pick up the vehicle at the airport Nikola Tesla in Belgrade, without paying additional airport taxes, in New Belgrade, near the Belgrade Arena. Pickups and vehicle deliveries in the wider Belgrade area, and generally throughout the Republic of Serbia shall be conducted in accordance with the price list determined by additional terms of the lease.

During the period of vehicle rental it is prohibited to drive the vehicle on the territory of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania - since insurance does not apply to these areas. The vehicle cannot be used for towing other vehicles and objects, for sports competitions, for an unlawful purpose, must not be overloaded by larger number of passengers or weight surpassing the permitted for that type of vehicle. Transportation of animals, flammable and explosive materials, materials with a foul odor, and materials which can in any way damage the inside or the outside of the vehicle, is strictly forbidden. It is forbidden to drive under the influence of alcohol, the soothing drugs or narcotics.

In all previously stated cases of prohibitions, none of the insurances apply and therefore the client will be charged with the full amount of damage or theft. Rented car can only be driven by a person who signed the rental agreement and has been registered as a driver. The option of additional driver is allowed, with the consent of Lessor, upon collection - personal presence of the other driver is obligatory along with all the necessary documents for inspection. Subsequently adding another driver is not permitted without prior authorization.

The use of vehicle outside the Republic of Serbia is not allowed without a prior authorization. If the Lessee leaves the country without prior authorization and the vehicle gets damaged or stolen, the Lessee will be charged with the full amount of assessed damage or market value of the vehicle. Risk insurance automatically ceases to be valid.
